BJP leader detained by police for going FB Live

Cuttack: BJP leader Ramakant Bhoi was detained by the SCB police outpost today for allegedly going Facebook Live in front of the paediatric department of the hospital.

As per reports, BJP legislator candidate from Tirtol Ramakant Bhoi took his five-month-old daughter to the hospital’s paediatric casualty. Despite waiting for a long period at the department, neither a doctor nor nurse turned up to attend to his daughter.

Annoyed over the delay, Bhoi made a Facebook Live on the issue from the hospital.

The outpost police detained Bhoi after some medical staff saw him and brought the matter to the notice of cops.

The SCB authorities were unavailable for comments on the incident.
