Bhubaneswar: A day after BJP’s Bargarh district president Narayan Sahu showed discontent over ex-legislator Ashok Panigrahi's announcement to join BJP, Union minister and senior saffron party leader Jual Oram today stated that the party has many potential activists to become Bijepur bypoll candidate.

He further stated, "If anyone shows discontent about the party's decision, they will be pacified."

In his reaction, Panigrahi said, "The decision will be taken by BJP high command, but the party leaders should realise I have a large number of supporters."

The BJP Bargarh district president yesterday said Panigarhi will be welcomed into the party but his candidature for the Bijepur bypoll will not be accepted.

Panigrahi has already said he will join BJP on October 2 in presence of Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram.
