Bhubaneswar: BJP national president Amit Shah’s three-day Odisha visit starts today as part of a 110-day nationwide tour to strengthen the party organisation ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Shah is scheduled to arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in the city at 1.10 pm in a special flight. He will hold meetings with party leaders and activists later in the afternoon at the State party headquarters office.

The BJP chief will visit the Lingaraj Temple tomorrow at 8.30 am to pay obeisance to deities. Shah will preside over meetings in six phases from 9.30 am to 12.55 pm tomorrow at the party office.

On the third day, Shah is scheduled to address booth level workers at a karyakarta maha-adhiveshan or workers’ mega conclave at the Janta Maidan.
