Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal’s (BJD) mega preparations for its 20th foundation day are on in full swing with the party leaders leaving no stone unturned to make the event more than a successful one.

The BJD will celebrate its 20th foundation day on December 26 at Talabania in Puri district.

The ruling party is, meanwhile, planning to launch a scathing attack on the BJP-led government at the Centre over Mahanadi, Polavaram and minimum support price issues. Besides, the BJD is believed to chalk out a road map for the upcoming 2019 elections.

"Mahanadi, Polavaram and special state status to Odisha would be the main issues during the event," said BJD’s general secretary, Sanjay Das Burma.

“We will chalk out the road map for the upcoming 2019 elections and try to expose the Centre’s apathy and stepmotherly behaviour towards the State,” he said.
