BJD MLA's sister knocks BJP's door seeking moral support

Bhubaneswar: Khandapada BJD MLA Anubhav Patnaik's younger sister Abantika Patnaik on Saturday went to the BJP State Headquarters seeking the party's moral support over property dispute with her brother.

Demanding a share in the ancestral property, Abantika knocked the doors of the BJP to help her find a way in sorting the issue.

Secretary Lekhasri Samantasinghar met Abantika and assured her moral support by the party.

“I am the daughter of Arun Patnaik. I want justice and will fight for property. I am going to file a case. I will move the Court and that is why I have approached the BJP seeking their help,” said a distressed Abantika.

Meanwhile, unhappy with his sister's wayward attitude, Anubhav while speaking to OTV over phone said," Our father Late Arun Patnaik has no property. The property that Abantika is claiming for a share is actually inherited property. Approaching media and BJP over this issue is purely a drama she is doing. And if she wants to challenge the decision of the Court, she can move a higher court."
