Bhubaneswar: Tension prevailed at BJB Autonomous College again on Saturday after members of the students’ Union locked the main gate of the college alleging that no action had been taken yet against the non-students involved in the group clash on May 3.

According to reports, the agitating students locked the main gate of the college and ransacked the notice board to press their demand.

The agitating students were demanding the expulsion of the students involved in the assault on May 3 which had left four students seriously injured, reports added.

"We had called off our strike only after the college authorities promised us to take stringent action against culprits," said the striking members of the Students’ Union.
