BCJD Gen Secy joins BJP

Bhubaneswar: General Secretary of the Biju Chhatra Janta Dal (BCJD) Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra joined BJP at the Misrana Parva held at the party headquarters here on Sunday.

Besides, more than 100 activists of BJD and Congress from Bhubaneswar, Banki, Niali and Ganjam also joined the party. These leaders were accorded warm welcome by BJP state president Basant Panda and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan who officially announced their joining the party.

After joining the saffron party, Mohapatra said he joined party being encouraged by the principles and ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various developmental schemes of the Centre.
