Bandh disrupts normal life in Boudh

Boudh: Normal life came to a standstill in Boudh due to a dawn-to-dusk bandh called by Bharatiya Kissan Sangh demanding fulfillment of their two-point charter of demand.

Members of the body blocked roads at many places bringing vehicular movement to a grinding halt in the district.

However, emergency services remained operational as the protesters spared the services from the shutdown.

According to sources the members of the body called the 12-hour bandh demanding fulfillment of their two-point charter of demand which include drought assistance for the district.

Adequate security arrangements have been made in the district to avoid any untoward situation.
