Babushan-Jhilik starrer ‘Jabardast Premika’ hits screens

Cuttack: Babushan and Jhilik starrer ‘Jabardast Premika’ was released on Wednesday (on the occasion of Odia New Year) at various theatres across Odisha.

Sources said the film is a comedy-drama in which “Chandu” (Babushan) falls in love with “Shalini” (Jhilik). He always tries to own her heart, but fails every time due to speaking lie.

“I am very much excited and expecting a lot from this film. I had so many comedy films but I can tell you that it is the best so far and a hilarious one. It’s a new story with natural screenplay. I hope the audience will love it as they can relate to the characters portrayed in the film. It is a complete entertainment package and ‘comedy of errors’ is the USP of this film,” said Babushan, who attended the premier.

Siddarth, a Tamil actor, who made his Ollywood debut with this film, said: “My character is a proper villain and though I am new for the industry the work experience here with all actors and director is fantastic”.

“This is a hundred per cent entertainment in this movie which starts with comedy and then proceeds towards serous comedy and finally ended unexpectedly. Since this film has got good music and already running well in the market, we hope it will be super hit film,” said film’s director Raju Sarabaya.

The film is being produced by A and P group Banner. Choreography with screen play is done by Raju Sarbaia, lyricist by Nijam and Dr Nirmal Nayak and music by Abhijit Mazumdar.
