The sightseeing trip was organised by Odisha government’s tourism department to give a firsthand experience about the State’s rich tradition and cultural heritage to the foreign delegates.
“As I have keen interest in culture and history it was a wonderful experience to visit old temples here in Bhubaneswar,” said Yap, an athlete.
Earlier, athletes from Afghanistan, Kirgizstan and Lebanon had been on a shopping spree at a city mall on Saturday.
The female athletes reportedly purchased branded apparels, jewellery and sports footwear from the mall in Bhubaneswar.
