Malkangiri: While the suicide of Kunduli rape survivor has triggered much outrage at all levels in the State, another rape survivor of Malkangiri district has pleaded for justice.

The rape survivor of Gobindapalli village in the district has alleged that she is yet to get justice even though more than two months have passed since the incident took place.

She further alleged that after conducting investigation police have arrested the main accused, who happens to be a teacher. However, no action has been taken against three other accused.

“Only a lecturer has been arrested in this connection.  Even though I identified the rest three accused, police have not arrested them yet. I have been getting life threats. The police are not even informing the status of the case,” she alleged, adding she has not received college transfer order yet.

The girl has also demanded security for herself and her family members. She had lodged a complaint with Mathili police in this connection on November 9.
