Angul: A dhaba (roadside eatery) owner was shot dead by two unidentified miscreants at NTPC market this afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Mangulu Pradhan.

According to sources, 2 bike borne miscreants fired at Mangulu’s head and chest between 2 -2.15PM.

Later Mangulu was shifted to hospital in critical condition where doctors declared him dead.

Meanwhile, Police reached the spot and have launched an investigation into the matter to trace the accused and motive.
