Bhubaneswar: BJP national president Amit Shah would be visiting Odisha on a three-day tour from July 3 and is scheduled to attend a party workers’ conference in Ganjam district the next day.

The party workers conference will be held at Ambapua Ground at Hungulapada village in Kukudakhandi of Ganjam district, informed Odisha BJP President Basant Panda at a press conference held on Saturday.

Besides, the BJP’s National president would also visit Arengan in Binjharpur of Jajpur district to attend a meeting at Panikoili. On the last day of his tour, Shah would go to Basantpur village under Tikarpada panchayat near Dhauli in Khurdha district, where he would meet with zilla parishad (ZP) members, block presidents and vice-presidents.

“Amit Shah’s visit is a part of the BJP's ongoing strategy to strengthen the party in Odisha under the 'Mo Booth Sabuthu Majboot' programme,” said Panda.

Shah would leave for Delhi at 6 pm after holding a discussion with senior party leaders at 4.30 am on July 6.
