Jajpur: Members of more than six booth committees of BJP in north Odisha will attend a public meeting during party national president Amit Shah’s visit to Jajpur today.
Around 40,000-50,000 BJP activists are scheduled to attend the party meeting at Areie in which Union ministers Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan will also be present.
Elaborating further on Shah’s visit, BJP district president Ashutosh Parida said, “The party president will visit Binjharpur and hold talks with five villagers followed by lunch at a dalit family’s house. Thereafter Shah will address the meeting at Areie.”
Three-tier security arrangement under the supervision of Jajpur SP Charan Singh Meena has been planned at Bari, Binjharpur and Panikoili ahead of Shah’s visit.
The Jajpur SP stated two additional SPs, four DSPs, 19 Inspectors, 19 platoons of police and 200 constables and home guards have been deployed as part of security steps and arrangements for smooth traffic movement.
