Amit Shah on two-day Odisha visit from today

Bhawanipatna: The Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district is all decked up to welcome BJP National President Amit Shah who is scheduled to arrive here by 1.30 PM today and address a public gathering.

Shah, who is on a two day visit to the state will brief the gathering about BJP's 'Mission 120 Plus' and review the tasks allotted to party activists and leaders of the district  during his previous visit in September 2017. A meeting with party's core-group leaders is also on schedule.

Tomorrow, Shah will be addressing a 'Yuva Samabesh' in Bolangir. Following the recent defeat of BJP in the Bijepur bypoll, the party is hopeful that Shah's visit will re-energise the party cadre at the grass roots and prepare them for the 2019 general elections.

On September 6 last year, Shah had arrived on a three-day visit to Odisha for the 'Mo Booth Sabuthu Majboot' programme.
