Bhubaneswar: The net worth of Odisha Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik's assets is around Rs 50 crore which includes an Ambassador car of 1980 model worth Rs 10,477, his properties declaration statement for 2016-17 said.

He has total Rs 24.5 lakh cash in bank accounts including Rs 12,17,153 in Janpath branch of Bank of India in Delhi while SBI, Parliament House branch, registered only Rs 1,626 cash. Similarly, SBI, Bhubaneswar branch shows Rs 12,46,792 cash and he has Rs 6,071 in Hinjilicut College branch of the same bank, which he saved for 2014 election purpose.

Patnaik owns jewellery approximately worth Rs 2,05,518.

Value of his immovable properties which are inherited  stands at Rs 48.95 crore which includes his two-third share in  Naveen Niwas, 50% share in a building at APJ Abdul Kalam Road in Delhi and a 22.7 acre farm land with a building in Faridabad.

He also declared that he had borrowed loan of Rs 15 lakh  from his sister Gita Mehta.

Also, the Naveen Cabinet has many crorepati ministers. The family properties of Minister Pradeep Maharathy increased to Rs 4.10 lakh in six years. His own assets are worth over Rs 2.75 crore while his wife, a lecturer by profession, has acquired assets worth Rs 1.33 crore.

Maheswar Mohanty is another crorepati member in Naveen's Cabinet. His wife owned three buses earlier and has purchased a new one on loan recently.

Similarly, Ministers like Damodar Rout, Bijayshree Routray are some other rich members with assets worth crores.
