Airport Fight Row: Assaulted Woman files police complaint

Bhubaneswar: The incident where a woman thrashed another in public view at the Biju Patnaik International Airport took a new turn with the victim, who was alleged to have an affair with the woman's husband, filing an FIR against the perpetrator with police on Thursday.

The woman lodged a complaint at the Airfield police station through speed post. She has sought arrest of the woman for assaulting her in public with the help of some hooligans.

She further demanded that the matter be investigated and action is taken against persons involved in the incident.

It may be mentioned here that the complainant was thrashed by a lady in front of the Biju Patnaik International Airport on August 18 on charges of maintaining an illicit relationship with her husband. The incident had become the talk of the town here after a video involving both the women went viral.
