Agitating dumper owners call off dharna in Paradip

Paradip: More than hundred dumper truck owners staging dharna in front of the Seaways Shipping and Logistics office here called off their agitation on Tuesday after getting assurance from the company.

Demanding clearance of pending dues for the past six months, the truck owners had gheraoed the Seaways Shipping office following which a discussion was held between both the sides.

However, the dumper truck owners sat on a peaceful dharna in front of the company office when the meeting yielded no result.

Yesterday, the company authorities assured the agitators that all the pending dues will be cleared soon.
