Kendrapara: After sheep attacks in Niali of Cuttack and Alipingala in Jagatsinghpur, another such incident was reported from Kosia Belari village in Mahakalapada area of Kendrapara district on the wee hours today.

According to reports, a sheep of Rabindra Majhi, a resident of the village, was killed in a similar way to that of the attacks in Niali, with bite marks in neck and the liver missing from the body of sheep.

On being informed, forest officials reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.

On the other hand, attacks in Niali continue to be shrouded in mystery with more killings reported each passing day. In the wee hours today, a sheep was reportedly injured in an attack by the mysterious animal in Khulis village where a sheep of Sarat Bhoi was injured. Earlier, Sarat had lost five sheep in the attacks by the mysterious animal.

Though forest official have laid traps, the killer is still unknown.
