Bhubaneswar: The irregularities in CBSE Class 12 results are yet to be resolved and allegations are surfacing against the state‘s Council of Secondary Education (CHSE) over discrepancies in marking in Plus Two exams. While two students from Salipur college had earlier brought allegations of errors in results, two youths from Kendrapara have also claimed there are errors in their Plus Two results.

A Science student of a private college in Kendrapara, N Pritam Das has always secured high in exams but in CHSE he was disappointed. While his marks in all subjects are fine, in Physics he has been given only 3. Pritam could not believe this and applied for rechecking and his marks were increased to 37 and he secured first class. When he sought copy of his answer sheet he received the answer copy of another student.

“While waiting for the rechecking and answer copies I already got late in form fill up process. And when finally I got the answer sheet it was someone else’s. This is really disappointing,” said Pritam.

Similarly, Subham Sahu, also from Kendrapara, has scored over 90 per cent marks. But his Physics score was 51. When he applied for rechecking at CHSE, his score increased to 96 and total became 564.

Earlier, two girls of Salepur college had also brought similar allegations. However, CHSE officials declined to comment on the matter.
