Bhubaneswar: A day after Titlagarh Additional District Judge (ADJ) court awarded life imprisonment to four accused in BJP youth leader Abhimanyu Sahu murder case, Titilagarh legislator and Abhimanyu’s wife Tukuni Sahu today stated she would meet DGP KB Singh to demand further probe to nab the mastermind behind her husband’s murder.

Talking to OTV exclusively, Tukuni said she would meet the DGP seeking an in-depth investigation into the murder.

“If it was a business rivalry, probe should be made who had employed the four accused,” Tukuni added.

Yesterday the ADJ court convicted Alok Das, Santosh Rana, Jagdish Bag and Naresh Singh in connection with murder of Abhimanyu and sentenced them for life.

Abhimanyu was killed while he was taking a morning walk on December 15, 2013. On the fateful day, Alok and three of his accomplices followed Abhimanyu in an car and a bike. The assailants had initially tried to kill Abhimanyu by running him over by their car and later hacked him to death.
