Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has signed a MoU with New Delhi-based, Spectro Analytical Labs Ltd to set up nine water testing labs in the State.

According to sources, these labs will be set up under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Berhampur, Baripada, Sambalpur, Puri and Rourkela.

Moreover, a State-level lab will also be set up in Bhubaneswar.

The MoU was signed in presence of Urban Development minister, Pushpendra Singhdeo.

“They will start the work from tomorrow and in the first package the will set up labs in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri and Berhampur. The rest of the places will be covered under package 2,” said Singhdeo.
