7 arrested for abusing, assaulting minor girl

Kendrapara: Police today arrested seven persons in connection with misbehaving and allegedly thrashing a minor girl in Pitapata village under Jambu Marine police limits of the district.

As per the allegations of the minor, the seven accused allegedly abused her near the village junction and later thrashed her. The girl even complained that they misbehaved with her and assaulted her.

Jambu Marine police recorded the statement of the girl and based on the complaint filed by her, all the seven persons were arrested."We have arrested seven persons in connection with the incident. All of them have been court forwarded," said a police official.
