Balasore: Search operations to find any person trapped under the debris following collapse of a roof portion of an under-construction CIPET building in the Balasore Industrial area this afternoon is over, said ADM Manmath Pani here today .
Pani added, “No one is found buried under the concrete rubble and the search operation launched by fire brigade personnel, NDRF and ODRAF teams with the help of locals is completed.”
He further stated, “The local police will lodge a complaint against NBCC which is involved in the construction of the building. Besides, a fact finding team will be formed to probe into the roof collapse. Action will be taken against those who responsible once the probe gets over.”
Notably, six people sustained critical injuries due to the roof collapse were brought out from the rubble immediately and rushed to hospitals.

Two cranes and three JCB machines were pressed into service to help in the rescue operations.
Balasore SP and Collector also visited the mishap site and enquired about the rescue work.
