4 injured as family feud turns violent in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: The ongoing tiff between a woman and her mother-in-law took a violent turn on Sunday with both of them allegedly trying to set each other on fire in Dhenkanal district.

The shocking incident has been reported from Laxmi Bazaar area here.

According to reports, four members of the family including the woman, her eight-month-old daughter, husband and mother-in-law have sustained critical burn injuries in the incident.

Three of them including the minor girl have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and their condition is said to be critical.

Sources said, there was discord between the woman and her mother-in-law over daily household works and they had entered into a quarrel last night also.
