4 dacoits including CISF jawan nabbed by QAT

Bhubaneswar: Four dreaded dacoits including a CISF jawan were arrested by the Quick Action Team (QAT) of the Commissionerate Police today in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate here.

The cops nabbed the dacoits while attempting to loot Rs 60 lakh from an official of a business house located in the Mancheswar industrial area. While chasing the business house official to execute the loot, the dacoits were held by the QAT personnel.

A pistol, live bullets and weapons were seized from the arrested dacoits.

Source said the four dacoits, who were staying at a lodge in Cuttack, had been watching the activities of the business house for past seven days in Bhubaneswar.
