31 'objectionable videos' went viral in 3 months: CM Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday told the Assembly that at least 31 'objectionable videos' from Odisha were made viral on social media in the past three months.

While replying to a question of Congress MLA Bhujabal Majhi, the CM said 124 cybercrime cases have been registered in different police stations of the State during this period and 19 people have been arrested so far in this connection.

The Odisha Police has recently issued an advisory to generate awareness on the safe use of Internet among people, especially the youths.
