Bhubaneswar: Three senior leaders of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) are likely to have a discussion with All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge of Odisha Jitendra Singh in New Delhi today prior to a scheduled meeting with AICC President Rahul Gandhi.

Congress legislators Naba Das and Chiranjib Biswal along with former MP Pradip Majhi left for New Delhi on Wednesday to meet Singh and discuss about the party affairs in State.

Speculations are rife that change in the State leadership may be announced after the meeting with Rahul and the three leaders will be appointed as working presidents. It is also rumoured that Prasad Harichandan will continue to hold the post of OPCC chief till 2019 elections.

"We will presently focus on what will be our roadmap to contest in the elections, empower the party workers and develop grassroots leaders in all assembly constituencies. People of Odisha want Congress to form the new government, the party structure is very strong and it will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections," said AICC Odisha in-charge Jitendra Singh.
