3 Odisha Congress leaders meet Rahul Gandhi

Bhubaneswar: Three senior leaders of Odisha Congress met party’s national president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi today reigniting speculations over a change of guard in the State unit.

Senior leaders from the State Chiranjibi Biswal, Naba Das and Pradeep Majhi held discussions with Rahul Gandhi at his residence in presence of senior leader Kamal Nath and observer Jitendra Singh.

Sources said discussions were held on a probable change of party leadership in the State.

Besides, Niranjan Patnaik is also scheduled to meet Rahul in a day or two, sources added.

"Nothing much was discussed apart from preparations for the Bijepur by-election," Das told mediapersons,

Earlier in the day, the three leaders went to Kamal Nath's residence and held discussions for 45 minutes before meeting Rahul.
