3 killed, 1 injured after bike falls off bridge

Rayagada: In a deadly road accident, there persons died while one was seriously injured after a bike on which they were travelling rammed into a bridge and fell unto a rail track. The incident occurred in Anguru village under Chandili Police limits in Rayagada.

The deceased have been identified as Pawan Tandi, Kiran Himirika and Diba Melka of Ketapeta area. The injured has been shifted to Rayagada district headquarters hospital where his condition is reportedly stable.

The accident occurred in the wee hours of Monday when the four persons were returning home after watching a play in Antamal.

Their bike rammed into a bridge killing three on the spot. According to preliminary investigations, the bike lost balance while at high speed and fell off the bridge after crashing into it.
