3 injured in clash in Deba Ray College over lewd remarks to girl

Bhubaneswar: Tension erupted on the premises of Deba Ray College here today over alleged lewd remarks to a +3 girl student of the college leaving 3 students injured.

According to sources, Plus-III first year students brought some outsiders inside the campus and clashed with final year students. The whole incident was captured in a CCTV camera.

Three students were injured in the clash and admitted in Capital hospital.

Two days earlier, a complaint had been lodged at Nayapalli police station alleging that lewd comments were passed to a girl student and sister of a +3 final year student.

The student who had lodged the complaint was attacked today in vengeance, said sources.
