2nd Puri Beach Carnival to kick off tomorrow

Puri/Bhubaneswar: Puri Beach Carnival, the second largest event of its kind after the Goa Carnival, will begin from tomorrow at the most famous tourist destination of Odisha.

A variety of activities starting from Beach Yoga, Aerobics, Beach Sports, Cycling and Boat Race will be the major attractions of the five-day-long carnival. Besides, the evenings at the carnival will feature various Musical Nights, DJ performances and other entertainment programs.

While the event was organised last year by the Puri district administration in association with Odisha Tourism, this year it is jointly organised by two private institutions.

"This year also it will be organized in a grand manner. Activities such as Beach Yoga, Aerobics and Bike Stunt will be held in the morning. Our main attraction this year is Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty who will be present here on February 24 and our brand ambassador & Ollywood artist Archita Sahu," said one of the organizers of the carnival Gyanendra Ray.
