More than 20 hurt in OSRTC bus mishap near Boinda

Boinda (Angul): Four persons among more than 20 injured are in critical condition as a Bhubanswar-Kantamal bus operated by the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) overturned near Boinda in Angul district late last night.

The injured were admitted to the Angul district headquarters hospital for treatment.

Talking about the mishap, Maheswara Kar, an injured passenger, stated, "Though I do not know much about the place where the accident occurred, moving to the extreme edge of the road caused the bus to turn turtle as the driver lost control."

Abanikant Patnaik, In-charge Additional Collector, Angul, commented, "The bus accident occurred at around 2.30 am."
