2 traders injured in bomb attack in Nayagarh

Bhubaneswar: Two goat traders were injured after unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at them near Banapur in Nayagarh district on Saturday.

Sources said, the miscreants have also looted Rs 3 lakh from the traders. The injured traders have been identified as Yusuf Khan and Mir Nizamuddin. The incident occurred at around 4 am when they were traveling to Nayagarh from Bhubaneswar in a pick-up van.

According to reports, nearly eight to ten miscreants lobbed bombs at the vehicle and later attacked Yusuf and Mir Nizamuddin with swords and other sharp weapons.

Both the injured traders were first shifted to Nayagarh hospital and later admitted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar. The condition of Yusuf is said to be critical.
