2 Odias Killed in LPG Cylinder Explosion in Bengaluru

Balasore: Two persons from the district died today in an LPG cylinder explosion that happened five days ago at a hotel in Hatibali area of Bengaluru.

The deceased identified as Jayant Sial of Miripur near Khaira and Chittaranjan Sial of Gobindbindha in the district, were injured critically in the explosion and have been undergoing treatment since June 30. They succumbed to the burns today, family sources said.

The explosion occurred while they were cooking at the hotel on June 30. Local residents had rushed them to nearest Victoria Hospital in a critical condition.

The exact cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
