2 killed in bike-truck accident, gun seized

Bhubaneswar: In an unfortunate incident, a biker along with the pillion rider were killed after a speeding truck hit them on NH 16 near Telengapentha in Cuttack district last night.

While one of them belongs to Jagatpur area, the identity of another has not yet been ascertained. A mauser gun has been seized from them.

The accident took place when the duo was travelling to Cuttack on a black pulsar bike. A truck coming from Bhubaneswar hit the bike killing them on the spot.

Cuttack Sadar police seized the bike and truck and has started investigation. Meanwhile, the driver and helper of the truck fled the spot soon after the mishap.
