SALEPUR ACCIDENT

The mishap occurred when the deceased, identified as Pramod Palei and Debasish Ray of Dikhsitpada village in Asureshwara, along with four others were returning in the Bolero vehicle bearing registration no - OR 05 AR 2984 from Mahanadi Vihar in Cuttack after attending a marriage feast. While Pramod and Debasish died on the spot, four others sustained grievous injuries.

The injured, also residents of Dikhsitpada village, were rushed to the SCB hospital in Cuttack for treatment.

Relatives of the mishap victims allege the Bolero vehicle driver was in inebriated condition and fled the spot soon after the incident.
