2 killed, 2 injured as truck hits van in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In a tragic incident, two persons were killed and two others sustained critical injuries after a speeding truck hit a cattle-laden van on National Highway-49 near Bebartapashi area under Sadar police station here on Friday morning.

According to sources, the incident took place in the wee hours of Friday. The speeding truck lost control and hit the ill-fated van causing the death of two persons and four cattle on the spot and leaving two others critically injured.

The injured persons were rushed to a nearby hospital, sources added.
