Bengaluru: Two youths of Kandhamal district were arrested by Bengaluru police on charges of selling hemp illegally and sent to judicial custody.

Acting on a tip-off, the cops raided a place near Christ College in the city and arrested the two persons, Deepak Sahu and his aide Subrat Sahu, for selling hemp on May 30.

A Scorpio SUV bearing registration number of Odisha and eight kg of hemp were seized from the possession of the two arrested persons.

Deepak, one of the two arrested, has confessed to selling hemp at higher rates in Bengaluru during interrogation, police sources said.
