2 injured in bomb hurling in Berhampur

Berhampur: Panic gripped Santoshpur village near Humma in Ganjam district after two persons were injured in a series bomb hurling on Thursday.

The injured persons have been identified as Dillip Dalai and Santosh Reddy.

According to sources, Dalai was rushed to Berhampur hospital after he sustained serious injuries in the attack Reddy was admitted to Khandadeuli hospital.

Though the exact reason behind the bomb hurling is yet to be ascertained, past enmity is suspect as the reason behind the attack.

On being informed about the incident, Rambha police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
