2 dead, 1 hurt after wall collapse in Salepur

Cuttack: Two persons were dead and one was injured at Darda Haripur village under Salepur block of Cuttack district today after a wall collapsed during roof thatching work of a house.

The deceased were identified as owner of the house Narahari Swain and a villager Khirod Chandra Das. While Narahari had died on the spot, Khirod succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The injured, identified as Naba Kishore Swain is admitted at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

According to sources, they were thatching the roof when a weak wall collapsed and they were trapped under it.
