Jharsuguda: Police on Thursday arrested two persons form Rourkela for their involvement in Bank of India’s Beheramal branch loot case.

According to sources, police has seized one revolver from their possession.

On May 5, a gang of armed dacoits looted cash worth over Rs 86 lakh from the Bank of India’s Beheramal branch.

As many as 10-12 dacoits with masks on their face arrived at the bank in a vehicle, went inside, overpowered the in-charge branch manager and the customers at gunpoint and locked them inside a room.

Before fleeing the area in a huff, they collected cash worth over Rs 86 lakh from the cash counter and the bank’s strong room.
