12 injured as bus rams into tree near Ichchapuram

Berhampur: At least 12 people sustained injuries when a bus in which they were travelling rammed into a tree near Ichchapuram in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district, about 30 kms from here, on Friday evening.

According to sources, the incident took place at around 9 pm when the bus coming from Balasore was on its way to Vishakhapatnam.

The injured were admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

The incident occurred when the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a tree, police said.
