Bhubaneswar: A total of 10,600 houses will be constructed in 28 towns across the state under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), informed chief secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi after attending a review meeting held here today to discuss on the progress of the PMAY in the state.

It was decided at the meeting that the houses would be constructed in three categories, on the own lands of the beneficiaries.

Besides, the government would also provide housing to those who don’t have their own land, at low cost.
