Jajpur/Kendrapara: A 10-year-old boy, who was missing since last three days from Biraja Nagar in Jajpur Road, returned home today much to the joy and relief of his parents and family members.

As per sources, the child was under the custody of Kendrapara Sadar police after being found by a person, two days back. The police took the help of Kendrapara CWC, who after preliminary investigation found the child to be a resident of Jajpur.

Jajpur CWC took over custody of the child, after being contacted by Kendrapara CWC, and later on handed the boy over to his parents.

Talking to OTV, Chairperson of Kendrapara CWC Sishir Kumar Routray said, "Sadar police had rescued the child two days back and left him in our custody. Later we contacted Jajpur DCPO and CWC. They asked to hand over the child to them and assured of his rehabilitation."
