10 rooms of five families gutted in Balasore fire mishap

Balasore: Ten rooms of five families were completely reduced to ashes in a major fire mishap in Sujanpur village under Kedarpur Panchayat of Balasore district on Wednesday.

Though no casualty has been reported in the incident, property worth lakhs of rupees have been damaged in the incident.

Meanwhile, tension prevailed in the area as the fire brigade officials arrived at the spot after one hour of the incident.

"Though the locals called up the fire brigade soon after the incident, the latter did not show up even after one hour," alleged a local resident.

However, the exact reason behind the fire mishap is yet to be ascertained.
