10 passengers injured in road mishap

Kamakhyanagar: At least 10 passengers were injured when a bus in which they were travelling dashed against a culvert at Turadanali under Mahabirod police limits in Kamakhayanagar sub division in Dhenkanal district this morning.

Reports said a private bus, Hara-Parvati, was on its way to Talcher from Telkoi when the driver lost control of the bus, which skidded off the road and hit the wall of a culvert at Turadanali.

The incident took place at about 8 AM.

Soon after the incident, locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured passengers from the bus and admitted them to Mahabirod Community Health Centre (CHC).
