1 killed, 8 injured in road mishap in Balasore

Balasore: One person was killed while eight others were injured after a Bolero vehicle skidded off the road on NH 60 in Balasore.

According to reports, nine persons from Bhadrak Basudevpur were on their way to witness Durga Puja in West Bengal when their vehicle fell off Nidhipanda bridge at Balasore.

According to police, the death of one person has been confirmed. The condition of the driver of the vehicle is critical while all the injured have been shifted to Balasore hospital for treatment. The exact reason behind the mishap is still unclear while police have started investigation into the incident.
