1 killed, 3 injured as dumper hits pick-up van

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a man standing on the roadside was killed while three others were injured when a dumper crashed into a pick-up van at Chandikhole in Jajpur district on Monday.

According to reports, the dumper crashed into the pick-up van from the rear on Paradeep-Duburi road here. Sanjay Sahu of Subhadrapur village, who was standing on the roadside,died after being hit by the pick-up van following the collision.

While Sahu succumbed to injuries on the spot, the injured persons were rushed to the Badachana community health centre and their condition is said to be critical.
