1 killed, 15 injured in separate road mishaps

Bhubaneswar: One person was killed and 15 injured in separate road mishaps across the State today.

A truck hit a car near Jarpada in Angul following which one of the car passengers was killed whereas two sustained critical injuries.

In another road accident, eight persons were injured when a picnic bus returning from Tirthgada of Chhattisgarh hit a stationary truck near Kadalimunda nursery in Bolangir. The injured are students of the Bolangir Ayurvedic College and have been admitted to the Bolangir district headquarters hospital.

Similarly, five persons were injured when a truck collided with a picnic bus coming from Kolkata near Mirigimundi under Basta block in Balasore. The injured were admitted to the Balasore district headquarters hospital.
